ARTS NIGHT – THURSDAY, MAY 14th
Come and celebrate an evening of The Arts with us at TPS on Thursday May 14th! The doors will open at 5:30 and you will have a chance to see the Art Gallery and see videos prepared by our Community classes. Then from 6 – 7 p.m. students in Grades 1 to 8 will perform on stage in our gym. We look forward to seeing you there!
CLASS PLACEMENTS
Class Placements for September will occur in June. Having worked with your child throughout the year, your child’s teacher has developed a good understanding of his or her abilities as well as your son or daughter’s social, emotional and academic needs. Our goal is to create balanced classes with regards to gender, academic ability and social dynamics. We are not accepting requests for particular teachers or for students to be placed with certain groups of friends, but if you have concerns for our consideration, please email Lisa.Hascal@yrdsb.ca, by Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
YEARBOOK
This year has been full of many memories. Our school events and activities have been captured through the 2025-2026 yearbook. The time to purchase one for your child is now! To pre-order, login into your School Cash Online account. Yearbooks are being sold for $35. Late orders will not be accepted so order as soon as you can. The final day to order a yearbook through School Cash Online will be May 13th, 2026.
MOVING?
Planning on Moving?? Each year at this time we begin to plan our staffing and classes for the upcoming school year. It is important for us to know how many students to expect for September at Thornhill P.S. for grades JK to 8. If your children (grades JK to 7) will NOT be returning to our school in the fall, please inform the office as soon as possible.
