Dear Families of Thornhill P.S.,
As we come to the end of the 2025-2026 school year, we would like to take a moment thank everyone for contributing to this wonderfully successful year. The close partnership between parents, teachers, school staff and community members allows us to work collaboratively in order to provide our students with the best education possible.
We would like to thank our School Council for their time and commitment in sharing ideas and resources to help support our staff and students in achieving our school goals. Their involvement is priceless and greatly appreciated!
A big “thank you” to all our teachers who invite our students into their classrooms with open arms every morning and to our unbeatable office staff who are always friendly and make the office a welcoming place for parents and students to visit. Thank you as well to our caretaking staff for working diligently to maintain our school and create a safe environment for our students.
We would also like to wish the following staff members a fond farewell, as they will not be returning to TPS at this time for the 2026-2027 school year; Ms. Sacks, Ms. Soudack, Ms. Chastny, Ms. Pleten, Ms. Pistritto, Ms. Nguyen, Ms. De Luca, Ms. Li, and Ms. Panganiban. Your contributions to our school are greatly appreciated and you will be missed.
We would also like to extend a special best wishes to Stacey Beliak, our front desk school secretary, who will be retiring at the end of this week.
Thank you to our wonderful parents who entrust us with their children each and every day, it is an honour to be given the opportunity to work alongside you to educate your precious children. We thank you for all your support and collaboration throughout the year.
Congratulations once again to our Grade 8 Graduates! It was wonderful to celebrate with you all at Graduation. We look forward to hearing about all your successes in High School.
On behalf of the TPS office staff, we would like thank you for all the generous gifts and kind words of appreciation...they really mean a lot to us!
